Unreal, there is some dude gets thrown out in middle of track and he just gets up and runs off...no mandatory trip to infield care center for these guys.

A lot of guys died during races back then. It was just considered the risk you took to do something you love. Sad thing is that was when racing was truly racing. You built the fastest best handling car you could and you went to the track. If you wanted to win you had to build a better car not wait for someone to change the rules to slow down the other guys or in the case of the Daytona and Superbird outlaw a car in order to level the playing field. That is why a lot of people have walked away from Nascar.

01yellerCobra if I remember correctly top speed for most of the cars in the video was 80-90mph.
