Glad you enjoyed it. I remember it from back in the day, but never have found it. That scene and the one from Red Line 7000, where the passengers are actually talking to each other in a Daytona really stuck in my mind.

I love old movies and TV shows where they actually drive the cars on a real road.

One of the local old time TV stations was showing Adam 12, and they were breaking up a car theft ring. In the big final fight they were throwing each other around on a 69/70 Shelby and other muscle cars!

It always amazed me that the Daytonas were almost scrapped because no one wanted them. I loved them the moment I saw them as a kid and didn't even know the history of the car.

That particular Cobra is owned by the Simeone Museum in Philadelphia. They take the cars out and run them around a closed off section of the museum lots for people to see.It was awesome to hear that car start and run. My wife thinks I'm nuts because I actually got goosebumps when it fired up.

We grew up with the Monkees show back in the day here in NZ as well. My Granddad at the time called the music "that Monkey music" haha. Good video, great days of simple entertainment that hit the spot. My "older sister" at the age of 12/13 was "in love" with Davy.
