Lol I've witnessed, firsthand, everything in that link. Great memories! Rental car etiquette seems to be a universal language. :23:

Back on topic- no, I don't think I would put a grill guard on an suv. Unless it was a Bronco. Which is really more of a truck anyways.

I would put one on an SUV but only if it was tough enough to move things. Most of those are cheap steel and when you do 'tap' something they bend back into the body work. My dad put one on his F350, it was a beast and worthy.

Not on a CUV, not a chance. But something like a Jeep, sure.

I suppose, if your're a 1%er that actually takes an SUV offroad. Otherwise, no.

I had a safari bar on my escape. Same body style as above. I had 2 hella 500s mounted on it. They worked great in the winter with yellow covers on them.

I'll take a grill guard over airbags after my head-on crash last year.

They aren't very good for protection. The one on the escape above mounts on the tow hooks. It causes more damage than it protects.

After being in Texas last week, I thought it was a requirement. Every frickin 4wd I saw had one.
