This measures about 15" long and I cut it out of 1/4" plywood. Did a lot of sanding and of course I had to paint it DSG. I'm think of putting it in the center of the trunk lid mat that I made.

Thanks!! I had to do ALOT of sanding over and over again to get rid of the wood grain. I wanted it to look more like it was made a metal when it was done.

By the thread title, I was expecting it to look like a stick horse or something, but that looks excellent.

Very well done! Certainly wouldn't have guessed it was plywood. Have you decided to put it on?

Thanks for all the compliments!!!! I haven't put it on my mat yet because I am waiting to see if a friend of mine can make me one out of aluminum first. I suppose I could just velcro it up there and take it off if I get the aluminum one made.

Not the greatest picture but I am not sure if I want it there. I think it's a little too big. I might try to make a little bit smaller one and use this for something else. The color looks off on this pic but it is a perfect match to DSG.
