View Full Version : Pro 5.0 Shifter Installed...w/pics!

Finally!! I have done the shifter mod! Now I can shift like 99whitecobra99!! Very easy to do. The hardest part was trying not to get the old RTV sealer into the tranny. Here's three pics of the install. The red wire in the pic goes to the Speedcal. You can see a part of the speedcal in the top left of the pic.

What about the rest of the pics!? ;)

On that last picture, I noticed that only one of the bolts were through the shift handle. Are planning on leaving it that way for ergonomics?

Well, I had it at work all day and decided to box it up that way. I guess I should have bolted the shifter up so people wouldn't have their hands busting into thier cd player on the 2-3 shift:D
