Where is the 1 of 1 Roush Mach 1? Help!!!

Hi everyone, anybody have a lead on the present owner or whereabouts of the one of one Roush Mach 1? Brian the original owner would very much like to get into contact with him...trying see if it is possible to get his special car back & I'd like to help a super nive friend out. Any leads anyone? Man I haven't seen or heard anything about that car in aloooong time. You would think there would be a way to trace the VIN. If Carfax and these other companies can obtain all the info they get some one should be able to trace it.

What about any Roush registries.

Or do a search of the vin on the internet, sometimes that will pull up for sale ads from previous years.

It seems like the guy that owned the Roush Mach on here was from North Carolina. I found a pic when i googled "Roush Mach1" that may be the car. See post #21.

Never heard of these. Seems kinda pointless to me. Someone mentioned on the ME forum thread that they made some Roush Cobra's too. I find that even harder to believe. They have never made a Roush GT500 or a Roush Boss 302. Somebody bought a body kit for that Mach.

No there real, the Cobras were actually more popular then the Mach1

here was 1 Mach 1 Roush, there were ( I believe) 7 Roush Cobras, and a guy who lives nearby has the only SheLeen, a Saleen modified GT500. The lawyers stopped the final completion, btu most of the mods were done before word leaked out of that build.

I must have been asleep for a long time. I've been in the Mach 1 family since Dec. of 2003 and this is the first I heard of any of these cars. Pretty sweet though.

Trust me that Mach 1 is real...I know the history & the people involved that made it happen...Also I just sat in one of the Roush Cobras here in Grants Pass last month ...it is a true track car now & the Cobra R wing on the back...Sonic Blue in color...I have pics. All the Cobras & the Mach 1 can be verified at Roush!

The dealer that I work at was a Roush dealer from 1998 through about 2006. The very first car we got in from Roush was a 1998 Cobra with a Vortech. That was the only Roush Cobra we ever sold. The previous owner of that Roush Mach1 used to post on here.

I knew of the Mach but not the cobras.

I thought, as mentioned about the gt500, SVT cars were a no-no from 03 on up. I know I've seen a surprising amount of pre 03 saleen cobras.

I ran across a 93 Saleen Cobra the other day in Fort Worth, TX. A teal blue Cobra with a Saleen certificate. It had some Saleen parts under the hood, but other than that...looked fairly stock. Not sure what all mods Saleen did to those Cobras, or if this was just someone making mods themself and trying to pass it off...

The same dealer had a triple-black 98 Roush GT convertible too. That one looked more interesting with the dressed up 4.6L.

He was asking way too much for each of these cars. Both have been sitting there for several months now.
