guys i was involved in a hit and run accident, the guy lost his plate, so hopefully they will get to him. Anyways, almost all the rear end body panels will need to be replaced, and the catback system also. What else should i make sure that the shop looks at while they are doing the work. How great of a chance of getting the car repainted completely due to its age do i have. Because i know there is no way they will be able to match the paint, with any kind of sun fade or discoloration.

Sorry to hear. Gotta love scummy people who don't have the descency to stop. For all they know you could have been really injured.

yea for sure, it was a younger kid that was probably scared, but still it will be worse now.

I'm sure if you take it to any body shop that's worthwhile, they'll look over the entire car. When my F-150 got hit in the rear long ago, they replaced stuff I never thought that needed it. I'd just ask them up to what point of the car would be re-painted due to the accident, and if your Mach has overall questionable paint, then I'd just have them paint the rest of the car that is'nt covered by the accident. Guess it depends on what you want to spend on it that is'nt accident related.

Quick question guys, the rear quarter panel will need replaced, is it going to be the same panel for gt/v6 and mach 1

The rear quarter panel is the same as a gt or V6. The rear bumper and taillight are also the same as a gt.

Sorry to hear about this. I would have them check your whole exhaust, including the manifolds/headers. Don't want any leaks lurking that surface later after she's all fixed and insurance is paid out.

What upgrades would there be for our car? and where to look, i am also looking into upgrading the exhaust, it had slps i believe lm2. I am looking into just doing the slps again, and getting a mac prochamber, any upsides or downsides to this?
