Hello, my very first post on the forums but I visit a lot looking for parts for the machy mach from time to time. Just got out of the Navy and my wife is having our first child so I (unfortunately) have to make room for a more family oriented car.
Listing:
Completely stock rid except for the K&N air filter that was added in along with the Mac Prochamber O/R pipe and Magnaflow Magna-Packs (loud and mean sounding but still very clean). Also she has brand new rear BFG KDW 275 tires and PowerSlow rotors with new pads and new OEM rotors and pads on the front. It's not much of a list I know, but funding was always limited, though having a completely stock mach 1 has never been a bad thing. She's a head turner and i get compliments everywhere I go about her and wind up making friends along the way because of her. She has been a great car to me so I'm sad to have to let her go. Asking 10.5k (kbb prices her at 13.7k for excellent and 13k just for good.)
Now the only 2 cons she has:
There is a first gear synchro grinding problem so she won't go from neutral into first, so you have to go from 2nd to first to get her in gear, or you can just start in 2nd if that's the case. I do have a spare tr-3650 transmission and new clutch quadrant, throw out bearing, clutch cable and the accessories to go along with it because of the issue, i just haven't had the time or the money to do it myself as I'm slammed with work and college and the reserves a lot here lately.
The other problem is that there is some kind of squeak that is coming from the breaks. There is no breaking issue at all, as the car stops on a dime, i think it might be a dust shield or maybe the ebrake cable that is rubbing against something? I would love to get it taken care of to eliminate the issue (which isn't a problem, it can just be annoying but the exhaust drowns the sound out anyway), but with my life in a cluster as it is, I can't even find time to eat sometimes it feels like :frown: I will post pictures up this weekend when I can have a small break and give her a wipe down.
