...When I don't have enough money to play with the Mach 1 haha.

HT-FPV quadcopter - this one's specifically designed for a Go-Pro and is also FPV capable (with supporting electronics etc). The control board is open source so you have to update and program it yourself using code. It's been a steep learning curve but it's been fun.

Right now I can only get a few seconds of solid hovering before it starts to go into an aileron/elevator oscillation. Gains are probably a bit high. I'll try and get a video uploaded when I get it lined out.

Pretty cool. What software do you use to program it? Are you learning it as you go or already have that kind of background?

I think it's called MultiWii GUI or something. I'm completely new to programming and code but have built/owned some trucks, airplanes, and helicopters. Both nitro and electric. Funny thing is, I had no idea I'd have to do all this computer stuff to it when I bought it. I thought it was 'Get kit, pick electronics, set up, tune, adjust, go' but it's still been fun.
