Where is the best place to buy these? Are you better off getting oem quality or poly urethane... etc?
Also, how big of a pain is it to change the trans and motor mounts?

I picked my poly trans mounts up at latemodel restoration and my solid motor mounts from UPR.
All it takes for the install is a jack. Just be careful where you jack from on the motor. Use a engine hoist or lift if available.

I don't like poly mounts, transmits too much vibration.
Ford used to be cheapest.
Trans mount is Ford only I think, as it is part of the trans crossmember.
Best to raise the motor via the balancer with a piece of wood and a jack.
DO NOT JACK VIA THE OIL PAN

Trans mount is super easy to change. Motor mounts are more challenging.
At least go with an upgraded transmission mount.

Birdman is right, poly or solid mounts will transfer more vibration. I use solid mounts and you can definitely feel the vibration more. My car isn't a DD but I don't mind it. As far a trans mounts, Prothane has a mount that comes with a crossmember.
