I saw one online, it was a stock black 2003, didnt see any mods listed, just appears stock, 4 previous owners..!! this dealer was asking almost $24,000 for it.. I couldnt believe it. So 18k for your beautiful modded is a good deal in my opinion. So if anyone gives you crap about it refer em' to the link below to the way way overpriced Mach:

I hope you plan on the car being for-sale for a long time as you will be lucky to get 14 to 15 for it. Mod's don't add to the value they hurt it as it a personalization of the car. You also facing newer model mustangs that are for-sale and Cobra's. If you want to get an idea of what you could sell it for try getting trade in prices from dealers in your area and add 1k to 1.5K to the price for a private sell. With the economy the way it is people are not buy muscle cars there selling the toys they have. Hate to be real but that is the market your in.

I'm not worried about it. The car will sell. I will bet money on it. Nada value is $17,750, and the car is as clean as they come. So instead of loading up my thread with your BS opinions, go to a different forum and put in your $0.02. I could care less about trade in value and what a dealer will give me. I know what the car is worth. I've seen a ton of high mileage mustangs beat to **** sell for as much as I'm asking at dealers. This isn't my first rodeo, I've sold and owned numerous mustangs. If the car doesn't sell, I won't be upset...I don't have to sell it. But, hey...thanks for your opinion! :)

Shaken,

Why do flame others for posting their opinion? This is after all, a Mach 1 forum for discussing opinions and giving advice. If you choose not to listen to anyone's advice, that's fine. It is your car and you can ask whatever price you like. That being said, anyone on this site is allowed to comment on your asking price. If you didn't want comments on price, then just advertise in the classifieds or eBay. Personally, I hope your cars sells for what you're asking because it means that my car is worth more that I thought. Best of luck with your sale.

Actually the sticky in this forum says.

ATTENTION:

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE NEGATIVE COMMENTS PUBLICLY to SELLERS and/or Buyers....If someone wants to try and sell it for $30K, let them!!! No one needs to be snide ro negative comments. If we see this happening, the comments will be deleted, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Be considerate...

My car is worth every penny of what I'm asking. I can garantee its one of the cleanest mach's on this forum, tastefully modded and not all beat to ****. The car is driven once a month, maybe! Has been garage its whole life, never seen any bad weather, and is waxed when needed. I've seen mach's sell with 60k miles for $16k. The people who buy them must be smoking somethin good.

I would not take advice from someone who decides to bash my car and my price...I've been in the game way to long. Like said before, I do not need to sell the car, if it doesn't sell for my asking price, it will sit in my garage and collect dust. I could care less!

What I do care about, is people who have nothing better to do but come on the registry and bash someone about a price they are asking for their car. If your not interested in the car or have something helpful to post pertaining to the sale of my car, go waste your time somewhere else.

2k4mach - Thanks man! :)

I feel people should refrain from making negative comments on cars they have never seen in person to be able to appreciate. We all know the economy sucks which just means those that cant afford a car shouldnt be looking at it. Knowing the car and owner personally I will say its worth every bit of the asking price. But then again I wouldnt consider selling mine for a penny less than $25k, call me crazy.:OUCH: Bottom line is specialty cars such as ours dont go off of book in the true market, they are all worth the same thing, what someone is willing to pay and what the seller is willing to take.

I could see it going for a max of $15,000. Some of the stuff you have done (such as the switches in front of the shifter) will hurt the value. I think $15,000 would be a fair price, more likely $14,000 though.

Hello. I think it is a fair price considering the well made mods and the great shape it is in. Btw i drove 16 hours one way to go and pick up my Mach1.
Well worth it.

Well since this is a forum for opinions, here is mine. You are asking price is too low!! I just bought an '04, 99% bone stock for $18,500!! It only has 5500 miles but still bone stock!! Plus I just sold a '04 with 75,000 miles, needed tires and only had a few dress up items for $12,800! Stick to your guns...it will sell

+1.

I'll be putting "Thor" on the market this spring with less mileage, more modifications, greater rwhp/trq which will result in a higher price tag. Anything less will leave it garaged and covered as I owe nothing on it. It was built to deal with Eurocar challenges on the German Autobahn and I know that temptation stateside will result in a loss of drivers license. That, and I continue to pursue employment overseas. So, what's the point in keeping it based on those two facts? Additionally, I've gone in another direction as I have other aspirations.

Stay with your price, someone will appreciate their new purchase!

How long have you owned the car? How far from NJ rt 78?

SHAKEN 661

I've had the car just about 3 years. I bought it from the original owner in December 2009. I'm a few hours from NJ. Probably around 3 hours.
