I currently have 2003 mach 1 stock I just ordered 2010 gt 500 black staggered rims 18. what are the biggest sizes I can fit without any rubbing at all. Will 305/35/18 rub or should go with 295 on back? and 265 on the front?? Thankyou everybody for your input.

I will also be using the stock rims for a good street and strip to put on drag day only. any suggestion on the best size and brand for that?

you should be fine with the 295 but i would just roll the fenders to be safe and go with the 305. I have my 295/35/18 tires on for two years with h&R ss springs and just recently cut my tire backing out of a driveway. Because of this I am going to roll my fenders before replacing my tires.

I have 315/35-18 DR's on 18x10 rim with H&R SS springs and no iso's and I cut every time I go up a driveway. If I had both my iso's back in I wouldn't have this problem. 305's r fine u deffinitly woulnt have problems at stock ride hight.

If you are at stock ride height then 315s are the max you can go with no rub or need to roll the fenders. If you have the car dropped, however, then you will need to roll the fenders to avoid cutting even 305s, as stated above.

Depends on tire profile as well. Not all about width.

285/40/17s get cut up without rolled fenders and the Eibach pro kit.

275/40/17 DR would be a good size tire for the stock wheel.
