When Cmon baby light my fire comes on now, they cut out all the middle and the song lasts about 2 minutes. Other songs too. Is this only going on in DFW? :wtf:

I don't listen to the radio much, but when I do it is disappointing. It's worse when they play a song and every other word is edited. It's as if someone keeps pressing the mute button throughout the song.

b4 buying my Mach I rarely recall seeing any on the road period. within 6 months of purchase i had seen 2 other OW Machs just like it. so much for being unique.

oh, i digress

i haven't listened to terrestrial radio in 5 years. got tired of having six preset stations and every single one was playing commercials at 5:05 pm every single day. lately it's been mostly CDs with XM/Sirius sometimes.
but even XM has gone down-hill with the DJs blabbing and talking over songs in the last few years.

I turn on the stereo in my Mach for maybe 30 minutes a year. I listen to pretty much the same song, "Black Promises" from Vince Neil, Carved in Stone. The last 90 seconds of that song just completely rocks. :gears:

Had the free 3 months of xm when I got a new work truck and loved it. Bo&JIM, the ticket, and jack getting old. like you say to many commercials.

The only time I listen to the radio is when I'm on the way to school in the mornings. I tend to only listen to DC 101 (Elliot in the Morning), just because them guys keep me laughing/awake.

Light My Fire has an extremely long instrumental segment. Thus, they edit it.

It is to protect the audience from becoming entranced. I, on the other hand, LOVE the full version.
