View Full Version : Thinking of selling the Mach

**EDIT** This is not a for sale ad.
Well, I'm considering selling queen B's Mach(2004).
My reasons will be known after this happens, if it happens.
My question is what to ask for it?

It has 84,015 miles right now! She is the primary driver so I can call it "little ole lady driven"! :23: There are no city miles to speak of, all of the miles are from backroad hwy's.
I rarely drive it as I do not care much for the way it sits(comfort). I'm a truck dude.
The only issue with it is the front bumper is f'd from bugs. We live in the sho nuff country and I gave up on that battle. The BFG's came with the 10th anny's I put on it and I hate them. The road noise is terrible but new tires would not be to far off for the new owner anyway. I'm thinking another 10,000-15,000 miles.

It has no mods. Only 10 anniversary wheels and the embroidered "MACH 1" headrests. It is an automatic and has IUP.

So how much?
For reference...

It is a clean car. But I would vote for around this range.

8,800-10,000

I'd say somewhere between $10k and $11k.

That being said, I'm thinking $11,000 is very fair.

I was thinking about this myself
The value of mach1s and terminators are going to tank in the next year or two.

The reason is the new mustangs are out and better by far.
who is going to want to pay 16 to 18 k for a clean low mile mach when you can go out and buy a used 11 or 12Gt and in 2 years there will be cars that are going to be for sale and in reality they will be priced in the low 20k range.

you will have a TON of 05 to 09s out there with the measley 300 hp motor
no serious motorhead is going to want the second best so those are are tanking now. right now I bet some one could go and buy my old 07 GT off the lot for 19k they are only asking 20,800 for it and that car was is CHERRY (well now it is ...) and it has only 27k on it.

So where does that leave the mach1s ? I know its a awsome looking car The shaker is neet and ford thank god still has not done another shaker car...

There are few things The Mach does that I enjoy. I love the feel of the car its like old school muscle you feel every mph as you go down the road..
the road feel is awsome too its not sanitary its like you really need to hold on.

The cars within the last 3 years have really changed everything is so well enginered for ride comfert, horse power and safety its really amazing. I look at the build quality of either of my newer cars and you can see the fenders line up with the hood perfect the doors are lined up perfect... the gaps are all the same ect..... look at any of the older cars and nothing lines up..
and you can tell it came that way from the factory cause the stripe is level....

So realy now is the time to sell unless you plan to keep it for ever enjoy it for what it is and someday have a classic on your hands...

im just being honest! i sold my 03 mach with 61k with over 10,000 in mods for 13,000 . i kept my 03 azure blue mach (auto) it now has 78k miles . 8800-10,000 is what id exspect to get if i sold, but i would keep . but yes you could get a little more because its a 2004

I'd try asking for $11,000...maybe a tad more. You just might find someone very much interested in a Mach 1. It still is a bargain when you consider its more than adequate performance and visual appeal. You can always drop the price later or give yourself some negotiating room.

Glad to hear it. And what self-respecting Georgian drinks Pepsi instead of Coke? Isn't that against the law down there? :smack:

BTW, I think I'm following your intentions with the Mach. I'd love to get into a 2011 GT and I think you'll find the interior comfort level far superior to a point you'll wanna forget about driving a hillbilly pickemup truck!

Hush you. You have an alternative ride to your truck. Frankie has like 72 trucks and the Mach 1. Not rippin' on trucks, just on Frank!
