I am in the middle of my build and I'm thinking about parting out my azure mach. How much would a clean 03 mach1 body sell for. Car has 20,000miles no accidents. No motor no trans .stock wheels and suspension.

I will trade you my 2000 V6 mustang for it. Runs great. :)

I have a new Mach 1 motor I can slap in there and I can dig up a trans somewhere.

My 2000 has light quarter damage but a clean and clear title.
Its silver with charcoal leather interior. Almost 140k on the clock.

Wow. Yes I have title and it has a built rear. I am glad I started this feeler thread. I was thinking a clean car with low miles would get between $5000 and $6000.

Nope, the most expensive parts are gone.
What makes it a Mach 1 is not there, now its just a flashy shell with better than base/GT suspension and brakes.

I am assuming the car is perfect in every way and has a Clean and Clear title.

I was following one on ebay about 3 months ago that just had minor front end damage that didnt even touch the upper rails or suspension and had a clean and clear title. It only went for $4000-even and it was complete with 28k on the clock.

Mach's have come way down in price, asking $6k for yours would mean someone would have to invest more into it than its worth. No one is going to go for that.


My trade still stands on the table and I am asking $3250 for it, just listed it infact.

Lemme know if you want to do it, I will be up there with a flatbed. :)

For me the drive to NJ from Missouri is worth it because I already spent $6500 on a motor and its just sitting here. I can grab a rebuilt TR3650 for about $1500 or a used T56.

Already right there is $8k invest, the car is only going for $12-14k on the fair market WITH the original motor and trans, start swapping stuff and the price drops like a brick even if its new.

Then ya gotta figure shop time, fluids, time spent to go grab the car, the cost to grab the car.

If we did the trade I would be in the car for about $12000 right out the door not including shop time.

If I paid you $6000 for it I would be in it almost $16000 dollars.


Its only worth it to a person like me because we already have the parts and of course I want an Azure blue one. :}~

PLEASE. Keep in mind this is a feeler thread. I have a complete built car but I am considering parting the car because I really don't want to buy another bottom end and pay for install again. I never expected to get so many pm's. If someone offers me a good price by Tuesday then I will decide which way to go.

whats up sal, if I remember correctly I sold my car for around $6500. I had a full suspension, built rear, true forged wheels, fuel system, and some other accesories but I always sell everything for a lil cheaper than most lol. I think it would be better if you put it back together and then sold it. Just my opinion
