How does one go about adjusting the speedo after a 4.30 gear install?

I've heard using a handheld tuner is one way.

I've also heard speed calibrators hook up somewhere in the tranny?

Thanks for the input.

It is all done electronically. Either with a hand held tuner (the best way) or with a speed cal. The speed cal does the same thing but doesn't give you the other features that the had held does.

i say spend the extra money on the hand held tuner plus with it gain some hp from it. it will be worth it in the end.

I've heard handheld tuners are overrated for power gains and you're better off with a dyno tune.

But it'd be worth a try I guess if I get it to adjust the speedo.

Any suggestions on handheld tuners? Some with good reviews from fellow members.
