Looks like it is the right color.

 Matches the driverside unit I put on a few years ago.

Is that from an air compressor? I just used a catch can on that side. LOL!

worth it. especially if you have alota miles on your motor. prevents blowoff from getting back in the intake or intercooler. i use the seperator on driverside and a jlt prefilter on passenger side.

Can the same thing be achieved with a breather? Or are those not good for our motors?

The best thing to use on the passenger side is a Sean Hyland breather, which I happen to have for sale.

Why is that better than a regular breather filter?

Allows unmetered air in. Here is the Sean Hyland setup. No unmetered air and not a drop of oil gets by.

How are you getting by on that ? Does that run to a catch can ?

A hose runs from the Sean Hyland breather to the intake. No oil has ever gotten by.

From looking at it on thier web site its is the same concept as I installed. Unless I am reading it wrong.

CNC Machined Billet Aluminum Oil Breather Separator Utilizing a 1/2" Poly fitting. Connects to the factory valve cover breather hose that feeds into the air inlet tube/throttle body assembly.

So its connected to the throttle body????

It must return the oil into the head. Mine I have to empty periodically. Both draw air in through the TB after the MAF.

No it's connected to the intake. Here is a pic. It has a much larger capacity than a separator.

Yea my drivers side can be a problem even with a JLT pre-filter and a oil separator.

Correct it collects oil in it and just drains back into the head.

Like I said above, I just run a catch can on that side. I have an oil separator on the drivers side.

To the OP, make sure you unscrew that little white filter inside the "can" and remove it. The pressure building up inside your crankcase because that filter may cause some seals to blow and may also cause leaking valve covers...including oil seeping into your spark plug holes.

So not only remove the filters but reverse the direction of the unit. Correct?
