Umm, no. It only works if the owner does the application. It's a wierd zaino quirk...!

I started using Zaino when I had my black C5 Corvette and fell in love with the stuff. It does a great job on my Azure blue Mach 1 too

Dishwashing liquid...?

What's the benefit there?

Dawn liquid dish soap will safely remove the previous coat of wax.
This needs to be done before applying Zaino.

Your car really looks great after the Zaino treatment.

How often do you need to do this?

And, how do you treat the black stripe on the hood, the shaker and the rear wing?

I can't argue with the results - your car looks great.

I always thought that type of detergent was too harsh on the finish.

Did Zaino suggest that product?

yes, zaino recommends it. Its not that dish soap is really all that harsh, but it does strip off any polish, wax etc..so the only time to use it is when youre starting over.

You can apply Zaino whenever you want. Supposed to last 6 months but I think that's stretching it. Don't put anything on the scoop that doesn't come off easy. I wiped some Armorall on it just to see what it would do. I applied Zaino to by hood stripe. It did a nice job and balanced out the finish nicely. Look up Zaino on the Internet. You can get all the info you need before you even buy it. I bought the $89 pkg. Comes with just about everything you need except towels. They recommend Cannon or Fieldcrest 100% cotton towel - with the little white tags cut off - because they can scratch. Goo luck. PS. It took me about 5 hours to wash, clay bar, wash, polish, then polish again. Looks great, even on a DSG.

Thanks for the compliments guys:THUMBSUP:

kidordinn-- I zaino'd over the stripes and the wing, didn't touch the shaker. I found that the zaino doesn't create a shiny finish on the stripes and wing (which is a good thing since they are not supposed to be real shiny). The zaino does however make them very smooth to the touch which also means that bugs and other contaminants will be much easier to remove later on.

Looks great!! I love zanio but I just can't bring myself to spend the money on it.

I must admit I really like this (Zaino) polish. It is really easy to use and the fact it does not leave a white residue on black is just super. I need to get a digital camera to do some pictures. My brother-in-law called my mach the "Knight Rider" which I took as a compliment and play on words (last name is Knight). The deep shine has won two trophies for "knight rider" so far.
Happy New Year!

The initial cost for a complete kits is a little high. But you get enough polish to do a Mustang about a dozen times. With a clean (claybared) finish you actually use very little polish. I mixed about 2 ounces per application and had about a 1/2 or 3/4 left.

Plus the dust just rolls right off the car. Unless its muddy, a California duster makes it look good as new in about 2 minutes.

This was my first experience with it and I think its great.

I have used just about everything out there and I have found for the quality and price, Kit Carnuba Wax to be a great product and it is made right here in the good old USA.

Yeah, so far I'm satisfied with Gullo. And they were about the only local dealer willing to deal on the Mach.

Hey Bad8511, you cannot buy Zaino in stores. If you go to "www.zainobros.com" you can print an order form and order it by snail mail. Thats how I order it. It is VERY,VERY good. Hope this helps.
