Hey guys, new member, longtime Mustang owner, currently have a 1990 Coupe, Strawberry/Titanium. Looking at a 2004 Mach 1, Torch Red, 21k miles and a 5 speed. Looks really clean in the pics and it's at a Ford dealer. What do you guys think it's worth? Thanks, might go get it tomorrow if I get good feedback and feel comfortable with the price.

A realistic market price is 12-13k for that car.

With that (low) mileage, the dealer will probaly (at least) ask for 16K.... Private party seller would be cheaper... you never know though...

Close guess... They have it advertised for 15,500.

Check the used car guides...Nada seems to have the highest value...

I paid more for my 2004...but I'd been looking for around 2 yrs for exactly what I wanted...04 Mach 1, auto, black, less than 20k miles....so once I found one, I snapped it up :3amin:

Not to scam this post but I am currently looking to sell an 03 TR mach 1 with 43k miles very very clean with exhaust and an intake, honey comb panel mach 1 floor mats tints, really nicely done and very tasteful. The dealer will look for around 16 15, I work for a dealer and that is what he wants me to sell the car for on his lot. I would rather not call the favor from my boss. If your interested, I am asking 13, and am looking to sell outright ASAP.

Look for my thread on here, its a clean ride with no accidents and never before smoked in, the thing is honestly mint and I hate to part with her so soon but with the economy the way it is when your boss says you need to change up the ride you do what you can to keep your job.

Stock or not??? I would not let my Mach go for anything under 16K. So, being that it is winter, may be 15.5 is an Ok price from a dealer... G/L

Stock, except Steeda exhaust, new tires.

15.5 is not a bad price for that car. Make sure to do your homework on the car like a carfax, oasis, autocheck etc. You should be able to work them down to at least 13,500-14k though. Remember winter is the worst time for them to sell used sports cars.

Also you can use the fact that its been modded against them. I did when helping my g/f buy her Ls2 GTO a month ago. They were asking 19,900 for the car and we picked it up for 16k. They can work but they will try and make the most money out of you first hence the questions: what do you want your payment to be? do you have a trade in? Dont answer those til you agree on a final price of the car. They want to know how much money they have to throw around.

No matter what they are making money but be smart and goodluck!

I hope you get it :claus:

i would say that isn't a bad price what so ever, but like others have said its winter they don't sell many of them and you could work the price down, play hard with them, but for the miles and everything being good with it, go for it. i love my mach and i love my shaker. they are so much fun and you always get looks in them also.
